UK Explored- North York Moors
This is long, long overdue...Another example of the beautiful English countryside- The North York moors. Stumbled across this on my way to Whitby & Scarbrough..which will be up as soon as I can flip my pictures
This area of the UK is amazing....just like the time I discovered Yosemite in California.Amazing landscape and even the air is different! Comming from a tropical country, being surrounded by heather or oak trees is a novelty to a girl more used to banana & coconut trees...with the odd rubber tree thrown it.
It's just a shame that places such as Yosemite and the North York Moors are not more publicised in travel brochures and the routine round America or round Europe tours. Which, on one hand, is excellent, as you are able to run away from tourists more interested in buying souveniers saying I HAVE BEEN THERE than actually enjoying the peace and quiet that is the country.
My pictures do not do justice at all to the countryside.I keep trying to capture the different colored heather but failed miserably..:x
*baaa. I have started having an affinity to goats
Yes, yes...I'm doing this because I'm brain-dead and I'm having a blog block at the moment..at least I'm leaving you with some pictures!
