So how did you do?

Sourain and Moo. Or anyone else she was supposed to see this week. Was Santa-san good to you?

He was Ok to me.........but not the most exciting Christmas holiday I've had. But nice nonetheless.

A long time ago, before Sourrain was born-I celebrated Christmas quite differently...........

So how was Boxing day? What is Boxing Day anyway?

Fly me to the moon - oh,I yearn for the days where we believed in miracles and the magic of christmas instead of a jaded life we lead..

boxing day is a day for sports - and originally the sports televised was boxing.

That was half made-up

It is more of a day of shopping now...yesterday on my way back from the airport, popped into the local mall for some grocery,to be confronted by a full parking lot at 10am.More kiasu (scared to lose) than Malaysians!

Santa was so-so to me - no dip dishes this year *yet. Origami book, scarf,Burberry brolly, cold hard cash are all good - some of the more useless gift include an ice cream set (?!!?!) jars of jams, jars of sauces and a crepe pan (?!?!).

Bacon received a care pack from dreybee containing different drink sachets and sauce mixes lovingly labelled with all the days of the week.I was shamed by the fact that I did not wrap presents for my friends back in KL - but that was rapidly fixed by the fact that I was the bearer of good donuts:)

anything interesting from santa this year?

A new driver- Ping G5.

Same lousy swing, but it is more forgiving of mis-hits. As for the S.O., she basically returned everything under the tree and took me out on Christmas day to buy her what she really wanted. (In Japan, Christmas is a work day so all the stores are open. Came back 10000Yen poorer....!)

But Chrismas dinner was good. I baked a ham.

You know I was always told that one should never, ever, buy kitchen things for a woman as a present. It was like asking to get slapped! :-)

(This from the guy who once bought a vacuum cleaner as a Christmas gift...I'll never make that mistake again!)

If I did celebrate Christmas, then the present came earlier for me when we all met up that night in KL. :)

I'm sure Mili will tell you all about it. Or you can just read my post about it. Heh.
