Cheese Travel Series 213 - Wensleydale
This is a long time comming...but I've been sidetracked by a tricky thing called life....Just been reminded by my post on the cheese rolling festiva;
The pseudo honeymoon - Our forage as newlyweds to Wensleydale (more cheese...can you tell we like cheese !!!) .Wensleydale is about 1.5-2 hours up in the Yorkshire dales, where there are more cows and sheeps than there is humans. As I had forgotten most of the trip (6th of Jan ok!), I'd just need to let the pictures tell a story...
We were off to Wensleydale two days after the wedding, the home of Wallace & Gromit's favourite cheese.Nothing much to see around there as it was raining and grey...smack right in the middle of winter.
I've been to a burrito factory but not a cheese creamery
I love this...wave Gromit!
The actual set made out of plasticine.You can still see the fingerprints of the creators! Most of the set in Wallace & Gromit: The curse of the were-rabbit had been burnt down in an accident, so this is one of the precious few remaining. This scene is at the vegetable fair, when they banged into the tent.Cute isn't it?
Churning cheese with a woman's coat.

Any wine to go with that cheese?
A loaf of bread, a jug of wine and.......Cheese Gromit!
Looks like it was a fun trip. I hate it when that annoying thing called work and home life get in the way of really important things......
