life on a tropical paradise
Coming towards the close of diving season, the island bug has hit again.Every so often (evey week) I dream of an island life. And here is my dream - a catalouge in full color; pix by the-one-from-redang and me
Follow me to paradise
My name's not nemo
The leatherback
I'm a trigger fish, not tigger the tiger!
We are chrismas tree corals..give us presents NOW
I am a giant la-la (trans: clam)
Table top corals (not table mountain casino for those fresnans)
The la la between the sticks
The-one-from-Redang
Mornings in paradise
Afternoons in paradise
Swim away your worries

Isn't it every day as opposed to "every week" that you dream of the islands? :)
Ohhhhh I love the islands too! I've not been to any in the last two years because I am here when the beaches are at their finest.
No, wait a minute. I spent 2 weeks in a desolate Thai island a few months ago....
But I've not been back to Perhentian for quite some years. The place has romance all over it. Me met Alex there =)
Come back for a holiday then! We go together *winks*
moo: Don't bocor my secret can or not?Actually, it only gets acute whenever I hear from the-one-from-redang; and as you might've guessed, I've heard from him again recently. We started out on even keel and best of friends. Due to the different decisions we've made ,we are now currently leading very separate and different life. It never fails to get to me how different everything is now.
Otto: I still feel that no other island compares to Perhentian, don't know why.I think it's the super laid back atmosphere, and the goofy grin that is plastered all over my face each time as i bounced my way towards perhentian kecil on the bumpy speedboat.
How romantic re: Alex :).Literally swept away by the waves eh.
I think I might need to make it back to Malaysia for next year's season:).
Sign me up! Know anyone who needs some good honest work? Even my enemies will agree that as a government employee, I make a good bartender. Hows the job market there?
Seriously though the pix make me want to go. If there is good golf there too, I'm sold!
W-e-l-l....not on perhentian, but on Tioman there is a golf course overlooking the sea.
Will do a piece on tioman soon;and you can then decide for yourself whether it is worth hauling yourself out there.
Trust me,the answer will be yes:).
i'm planning phuket next yr. join us :)
are you inviting skippy or me?
Love the pics, especially the not-nemo one. Heheh. That's one more on the where-to-go-for-'oneymoooon list.
Oh, sua lama I stalk your blog, I've decided to link you up. Finally! :)
Thanks kynne!
There are more where they come from. I've gotta admit, they do make a good composition for a picture - not many people have the opportunity to take pictures of the beauty of undersea creatures
